The Garage Cafe: A Local Gem for Breakfast and Lunch

Cool place to eat but.....Came in for breakfast. Hit it at the perfect "not busy" point in the morning. Our party's first food choice wasn't available so we ordered biscuits and gravy along with 2 omelets and a piece of pie. Omelets were way over done, they had that almost burnt egg taste. Biscuits and gravy tasted more of flour than anything. The best part of the meal was the hashbrowns, except I asked for lightly browned which they weren't, but I get it we're human. I'll go back because it's close to home but will only order the burgers as I know they have consistently been good.

Bacon cheeseburger for lunch really hit the spot. The onion rings were delicious, with a light but crispy coating. Definitely want to come back to check out breakfast and a few other lunch dishes! We got a slice of marionberry pie to enjoy later at home and it was phenomenal!!

We enjoyed a very tasty lunch. We arrived just ahead of the lunch crowd, it got quite busy, which I take as a testimony to a local hit spot. I had the turkey, bacon and Swiss grilled sandwich and hand battered onion rings. Delicious. Large portions. Will be back to try the pies.

1st time in, loved the decor. Our waitress was AWESOME! Very friendly crew. The food was phenomenal, the hamburger was so tasty and cooked to perfection...onion rings were the bomb. We enjoyed chatting with our waitress and laughing with the cooks. Overall I highly recommend the Garage Cafe. Our next visit will be for breakfast! Thank you to the staff for an amazing experience we will definitely be back!

Great food, entertaining waitress, good environment, prices are good for the huge amount of food. My 6 egg omelette was awesome!

Brittany was a wonderful server, we had a bacon scramble, pancakes and tried the lugnut, aka biscuit and gravy. Overall the food was petty good. We also got a piece of wild berry pie to take home. Since the portions are huge, my husband and I shared and still had enough to come out with leftovers! Overall we would happily visit again!! And the decor was definitely fun :)

This is a unique and nostalgic place to eat. They have many car related items on the walls throughout the cafe. The service was great. We didn't have to wait long for the waitress to take our order, which was ham, eggs, and hash browns. It came exactly as ordered. Our waitress Brittney was polite and engaging. All waitresses should have her great sense of humor and ability to hold a conversation, plus get your order correct. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area. I'm glad we stopped, and we'll be back again.
